After 14 years in Spain, we are branching out and co-hosting our first cycling trip in the Provence Region of France with Haute Route Events. The trip will run the first week of October and will include the 3-Day Haute Route Ventoux event! This trip will be limited to 10 guests only as we want to guarantee a very intimate, unparalleled experience!
All riding is based out of Bedoin, a lovely little agricultural village in the Mont Ventoux region. In the heart of wine country, Bedoin is blessed with a Mediterranean climate of sun nearly every day of the year! Price includes airport transfers, hotel, bike rental, and Haute Route entry. The hotel is in the heart of the village, close to everything.
Cyclists will fly Sunday evening and arrive on Monday. The plan is to spend the first 3 days cycling around the Bedoin region in preparation for the Haute Route event that begins on Friday. Daily guided rides will be around 40-50 miles and afternoon and evenings will offer opportunity to discover some of the local cuisine and wineries or simply relax and bask in the beauty of Provence.
Haute Route Ventoux begins on Friday morning. It will allow cyclists to ride all three ascents of the legendary Bald Mountain, Mont Ventoux and enjoy the peaceful nature, wildlife and gastronomy of the region. For those that want to tackle the Original Course, it features a total of 165 miles and 26K Ft+ of climbing over 3 days. A bit more manageable, the Compact Course is 133 miles with 17.5K Ft of elevation. There are also options to mix and match or simply just come and watch.
The Haute Route’s objective is to deliver an unparalleled 'professional' experience for amateur cyclists in the most iconic cycling locations in the world wide. This means not only delivering first class hospitality and event management, but all the key ingredients that make up the culture and experience of professional road racing. making Haute Route events the most prestigious amateur cycling events in the world.
